Sandokan
Sandokan is a Wildcat unit; a line of tiger-robots used for heavy crowd-control artillery by LuxCo's Counter-Terrorism Bureau in the Department of Galactic Security. Though less destructive than actual Military robots. they are still lethal in their own ways and formidable opponents that can take down an entire terroristic cell in less than a hour. Sandokan, however, stands out even among his kind because he underwent several upgrades and customizations that make him even more deadly.
It's unclear how he came to separate himself from LuxCo. As of it, no one knows how things went. There are rumors about a rogue Wildcat who went haywire and attacked the office of the then-Head of Security, Jamison Brooke, leaving behind a scenario of destruction and mayhem worthy of a commando - but there are no proof that the unit in question was, indeed, Sandokan. Others whisper that the Tiger Prince's wrath first awoke when he was sent to exterminate a high-profile terrorist group and found himself before a cluster of women and children whose only defenses were stones and sticks. What's for certain is that Sandokan bears no sympathy for LuxCo or any other corrupt, oppressive form of government. This might be part of the reason why he goes by the name of a literary Malaysian pirate king.
Known as the Tiger Prince for his aristocratic manners and noble nature, he roams the known worlds to protect the desponent and needy. Announced by the mighty promise of a bloody retribution - "Hear me roar" - he takes on threats large and small with methodical ruthlessnes. Even if he is highly intelligent, and had himself upgraded with a speech processor that allows him to talk fluenty in any language, on the battlefield it is his wild, animalistic programming he heeds. It's said that unleashing the wrath of the Tiger is the worst mistake any living soul can commit in life. Forgiveness and compassion toward his enemies are alien concepts to him, and when he sets on a hunt, his purpose is always to kill.
Sandokan first came across the freedom fighters known as Defiant Citizen when he covered their retreat from an unfortunate raid; once all the surviving agents had fled the scene, he massacred the opponents down to the last man, drone, and robot. His fantastic prowess earned him the Defiants respect, but the Tiger Prince made it well known that any further collaboration could be only the fruit of coincidence and fate, for he had no desire to join their faction nor any other insurrectionalist group. Indeed, ever since he left LuxCo, he has rejected to obey man, woman, cyborg or robot ever again; the Tiger only does what the Tiger wants.
Years later, he was contacted by a former Defiant, Cris - aka - Light Raygun. Amused that a former pirate could be so bold to reach out for him, and knowing her to have never raised hand against a hapless innocent even in her days of crime, he consented to meet the young woman. Surprisingly, she approached him with the respect due to an actual king and none of the arrogance and superiority of her species, which put Sandokan in a favorable disposition toward her. Cris explained how her dream was to assist, support and salvage anthros who might be prejudiced for their appearance, marginalized or hunted down by unscrupulous police forces, government agents or amoral men and women of science - just as she had once fought for ensuring robots rights. Sandokan found that their goals were indeed similar, but was as ready to reject any long-term collaboration with her as he had done with her old comrades - when, to his surprise, she put her sword at his service, bowing to his authority and accepting that now he had been put apart of the anthros conditions, he would know best how to guide her and her allies's efforts. Ever since, a strong mutual respect was established between them, and Sandokan even regards her as a trusted advisor, particularly when dealing with anthros or fur-folk refugees.

The Tiger Prince's specifics are unique even among other Wildcats. His fangs and retractable claws are made of a titanium alloy that can lash through metal and iron alike. His bite is similar to a set of pincers, and once his maws have closed over a prey, it takes a tremendous force to pry them open - not that anyone in their right mind would attempt that, for he will defend his catch viciously. His video optics are protected by colored glass capsules - his "eyes" - and cover a visual range of 200 degrees each, with a variety of applicable filters (from night vision to heat detectors, photocells and X-Rays). The acquired video footage is immediately transmitted to his positronic brain which had several pre-programmed elimination plans from which to choose, and an advanced tracking system to boot. His eyes are also connected to the heat, scent and movement sensors in his nose and whiskers. Two retractable 6000MHS FireVulcan rotary cannons are built in his shoulders. He has a long scythe at the end of his tail, and three high-precision grappling hooks are concealed under the tailtip. His roar is not just a means of intimidation but an actual sonar blast that can rupture human eardrums and shatter glass or frail surfaces when at its highest setting. Lastly, his paws are equipped with racing-class accelerators and biosynthetic resin pads with varying intermolecular cohesion, allowing him to adhere to walls and cling to surfaces with such strength that a bulldozer wouldn't be able to pry him off (though the surface to which he clings - or his chassis itself - might break under the strain).
Overpowered as he is, however, even the mighty Tiger Prince is not indestructible. Although his chassis is bulkier than the average robot, it can still suffer lasting damage. His rotary cannons can only totate up to 150 degrees, which means he can't ideally shoot someone standing right behind his back (though he might still lash out with his scythe or grappling hooks to drag his prey in the fireline). Another weakness is that while a formidable weapon in themselves, his cannons cannot fire for too long in situation of intense heat (e.g in a burning building), 'less his interior cooling system fails.
Sandokan stands at an imposing 5'6'' at the head, and is bulky and sturdy but with a certain feline grace and flexibility that never abandons him. His chassis is colored bright copper with the markings of a Sumatran tiger; black lacquer stripes are painted across his body and tail. The glass case of his eyes is deep golden-colored but can verge from phosphorescent yellow to jade-green depeding on light conditions and vision modes. His voice is deep, rolling and authoritative, but can also be suave and charismatic.
Inspirator: the fictional pirate Sandokan from Emilio Salgari's novels and the derivative TV series starring Kabir Bedi, and the Predator cyborg (which despite the name has nothing to do with the "Predator" franchise and the yautja species) from the Italian comic-book series PK2. -
Sandah
Sandah was a Howler unit from the Seeonee, belonging to the same pack as Zorro and Soulless. Because of his strength in the bite, he was almost always paired with Soulless, who had faster reflexes. The "dark horse" of his own pack, Sandah was reclusive and mostly kept to his own. The only other pack member he allowed near him was an almost equally lonesome female named Julianna. But even if they often had head together as if transmitting privately to each other, no one could tell whether it was just because they were both skittish or if a deeper bond had been forming between them.
After their old pack leader was gunned down, leadership briefly passed on to Zorro, and Sandah took the change in stride. Unfortunately, even their combined fighting abilities were not enough to prevent the destruction of their pack. But when Sandah saw Julianna's chassis blown in pieces, something changed inside him. He attacked in a blind fury and for a while it even looked like he alone could hold off the opponents - at least until two Wildcats joined the fight. Although Zorro had ordered retreat, Sandah continued to fight until a blast from the tiger-bots destroyed him for good.
Eventually, the remains of his chassis and circuitry were recovered by some stray Scavenger units in the aftermath of the battle. Rather than end his existence in a junkyard, the bulk was auctioned for cheap to a mercenary who later uploaded his circuits into a Fenrir unit, repainted with the original Sandah's colors. Fenrirs were combat droids, a customized offshoot of the original Howler model used for recon & sniper missions on hostile grounds. Sandah was assigned to a new pack of retrievers; however, very little - if any - of his already-flat personality had survived the destruction - and upgrade. An actual mindless machine, he followed his programming blindly, struck rapidly and did not second-guess orders. Only when unleashed, some of the irrational berserk fury that had grabbed him after the loss of Julianna would resurface in his thoroughly brutal extermination of targets. By all means and purposes, the living entity known as Sandah might have ceased to exist and disappeared into oblivion...
... until, several years later, his path crossed that of Zorro and Soulless, who had also survived the Seeonee's destruction. While the pair instantly recognized their old packmate's markings, Sandah showed no outward display of familiarity in their regards, other than regarding them in silence for long minutes. As he turned to leave, the couple received an identical transmission; a direct bridge to his own private comlink. Should the pack ever call, the lone wolf would heed... but whether he'd answer the call or not remained to be seen. Still, it was something; a feeble hope,
